Everyone can do with help with utility bills with the ongoing increases in both gas and electricity.  In business, all cost savings initiatives have to be considered and one of the easiest one to put in place is your utility bills.

I found a very interesting article this morning  which I wanted to share with you because I know that there is help with utility bills out there and available, if you had the time to research. It was interesting to see how much this one small business managed to save on their utility bills.

Look at the heading too … it’s FREE!  Don’t let that put you off because it is genuine :)

Free service

You need to take every action you can to save money now before you get swamped with the intended tax increases, which have been recorded in the BusinessWeek, as saying, they may in fact harm UK industry.

Britain’s plan to tax carbon dioxide from power stations on top of European emissions costs may harm industry and raise energy bills without helping the environment, according to a panel of lawmakers. “A revenue-raising exercise disguised as a green policy won’t help anybody,” Tim Yeo, chairman of the U.K.’s energy and climate change committee, said in an e-mailed statement.

It’s a very interesting article but in the final analysis, only you can take the first initial steps to do something.  The sooner a company puts a plan into action to get help with utility bills, the sooner than can start making savings for their business.

I was just about to close this post when I noted another side to this topic

British Gas owner Centrica is next month expected to announce profits of £566m for last year. But profits will be down compared with 2010′s record figures of £742m after the company revealed it has been losing 1,800 customers a day in the wake of a series of gas and electricity price hikes last year.

So their profits are down! Protects are on the way.  Many people feel that enough is enough.

As we all know, businesses will be paying more one way or another!

Going back to the first article I found this morning, I hope it helps you to decide to check it out and see what they are actually offering in their way of help with utility bills for your company.
